Wow, I've been working for exactly a year now. This year went by so fast. On the other hand, I'm excited that it's December already. That means i get to go home and spend the holidays with family :). |

I've been stayin at Jojo's apartment for the last 4 months.. kakahiya! I need to move out of their living room na talaga. :p I need to find my home in Sydney! Masyado kasi akong picky eh.. I wanna live in a nice apartment but medyo kuripot rin ako! haha :p |

It's been a while since I last wrote. I'm now in Sydney permanently for work and I just recently received my permanent residency visa in Australia too :) I'm looking for an apartment now but the market's so tight and it has really been tough. I went to see this two bedroom apartment and 20 other people viewed the place. To think it's not really that nice and affordable. It really isn't a renter's market. Boo! :( I'm viewing more apartments tomorrow so wish me luck :) In the meantime, I'm staying in my friend's living room. :p I've been hanging out with a lot of Icans here like Pam, Jojo and Coms so I'm not really lonely. :) Plus, work's keeping me busy with 90 hour weeks! :S Hopefully I can go home this Christmas. Nagiipon na ako ng leave! :) See u guys soon! |

| First day at work |

First day at work was just training and meeting the group where I'll be working in. First thing I noticed was the girl to guy ratio. Out of the 40+ interns, there were only 8 women!! I got off at 7pm today so it wasn't that bad. Everything went really well until I noticed on the way home that I had left the key of my laptop's kensington lock (they gave us laptops to work with for the 10 weeks we're there!! :) ). Pretty stupid huh, to lock your laptop and leave the key on your desk. :( I guess i'll just go in early tomorrow morning! Anyway, pretty tired! Night :) |

I am so happy exams are finally over. I had my last one today. It must be the worst paper I have ever sat on! The exam was supposed to start at 9am and by that time, our exam papers haven't arrived at the exam hall yet. They haven't even been printed! Talk about stress. 202 of us taking the subject (Enterprise Performance Management) were just waiting outside while we get updates every 15 mins. It turned out that instead of printng 222 copies, they only printed out 22 copies. We ended up starting our exam an hour later at 10am. It ended at 1:30pm. Oh well, at least it's OVER! This exam is the last exam of my whole university life! I will get my degree in December! woohoo! But, I deferred my graduation date and applied to do the extra year. Which if I get in, will attach (honours) in my Bachelor of Commerce degree. So i guess it's not really the last one if I get accepted. They only take 40 students for the honours year n Finance so wish me luck guys.
I'll be home on the 22nd of Nov till December 2 then it's off to Sydney for me! My internship should be exciting. :)
Time to pack my suitcase and clean the apartment for me! |

When I'm having a bad day, I have this :) Trampoline... Flavours that jump out at you.   Strawberry, Open Sesame, Hazelnut Roche, Coffee Crunch But of course, I don't get the dinner tin all the time! *** edit*** They make the description of each gelato flavour sound yummy too! (got these from the website) Strawberry: Unlike the rest, we use no artificial colours or flavours. Made from fresh strawberries when good ones are in season, premium frozen strawberries when they're not. Simple but classic with lots of real fruit chunks.
Open Sesame: We start with a smooth caramel base. We fold through roasted, toasted, toffee coated sesame seeds. Then we smother the lot with a golden caramel sauce.
Hazelnut Roche: Hazelnut gelato made from real crushed hazelnuts that we import from Italy. Topped with a hazelnut chocolate (like Nuttella) with little bits of praline in it.
Coffe Crunch: A serious coffee gelato made using a traditional Italian style espresso base. For an extra hit, we top it with a chunky chocolate sauce. |

I asked my cousin to download the latest episode of grey's anatomy. That time I also asked him to get toilet paper from his apartment since I didn't have any left in my apartment.
Our conversation went like this:
Hendrik: Grey's Anatomy or Toilet paper?
Van: uhm.... Grey's Anatomy! Bukas nalang ako bibili ng toilet paper!
So yey i had season 3 episode 5 of grey's and no toilet paper but I was happy. hahaha! I'm crazy. (btw, talagang hindi ako binigyan ng pinsan ko ng toilet paper.. i thought he was kidding! :( ) |

I'm leaving for Sydney tomorrow morning then taking a long drive to Byron Bay :) I'm sooo excited to see lorr and hit the beach! :D  ok.. I still need to pack! I'll be back in a few days! :D |

It's out! :) I wanna get one for my god daughter's birthday... that is if I can get hold of one! I wasn't able to pre-order and I haven't checked the stores yet so hopefully they'll still have it in stock tomorrow.
I remember getting the tickle me ernie and the tickle me big bird in toys r us when I was a kid.. sold out na kasi yung tickle me elmo! :( Hope I can get one this time for my favourite inaanak (isa lang naman kasi siya! Thank God! :p). I actually want one for myself. It says 18 months and above. I guess you can never get too old for one! :)
